James Smith

Lead Pastor
James started with Faith Fellowship Watertown as a ministry intern in 2010, working in mens’ ministry, small group discipleship, outreach events, and speaking.  He was ordained as Associate Pastor in 2017, and then as Lead Pastor in 2018.

Originally trained as a financial analyst, he holds a bachelor’s degree in Financial Information and Analysis from Clarkson University, and always loves an excuse to talk about the power of intentional giving and saving.  

He and his wife Nicole have been married 10 years, and live a few minutes south of Watertown with three spunky children.  

 

Nicole Smith

Music Ministry Director
Nicole grew up in Faith Fellowship, developing a love for worship music.  Nicole trained under then-Associate Pastor Tim Grant for several years before attending and graduating from Crane School of Music, SUNY Potsdam.  She holds a Master’s in music education.

Nicole and Pastor James met at one of the church’s Connect groups in 2010, and were married a year later.

Becky Elliott

Administrative Assistant

Becky, along with and her husband and two sons, lives in Watertown and she has been part of Faith Fellowship since she was a child. Becky knew early on that her involvement with the church would go beyond basic membership. She received her Masters of Science in Teaching and taught fourth grade for FFCS before transitioning to the school office.  She now serves both the school side and the church side of Faith Fellowship in the offices.


Miriam Larkin

Business Manager
Miriam is originally from Clarence, NY and currently lives in Watertown with her husband Abel and their 3 children. Her connection to Faith Fellowship is through her husband, who grew up with Faith Fellowship as his church home. They attended here together for quite a few years before moving on to become a part of River of Life Fellowship in Copenhagen, NY.

Miriam has an associate’s degree in Business Administration from Erie Community College and a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Empire State College. Along with spending time with family, she enjoys baking, singing & playing piano, doing anything active (especially REFIT®), and being outdoors.

Rachel Peterson

Youth Director

Rachel is a military spouse from California with three young children. She is a licensed teacher who has taught middle school English and preschool, and she is delighted to use her passion for middle and high school students to bring the love and truth of Jesus to the youth of Faith Fellowship and the Watertown area.

 

Michelle Mitchell

Destination Kidz Director

Michelle Provides an exciting, fun environment to learn about Jesus. She serves the travelers (infant & pre-k), in motion (pre-k & K), Excursions (1st & 2nd), On Track (3rd & 4th), Connections (5th & 6th) and Check in’s.
